Dr. Adam Neal
Dr. Adam Neal received his Bachelor of Sciences degree with great distinction from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He then obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree, with Cum Laude Honors, from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. His professional interests lie in primary eye care and management of ocular disease. He takes pride in making sure his patients understand the health of their eyes and all of their vision concerns have been thoroughly addressed.
Dr. Neal is excited to plant his roots in Richmond where he plans to raise a family and be active in the community. While away from the office, he enjoys working out, cooking, spending time with his wife, and training their German Shepherd. He is happy to take over Petersburg Family Eye Care and provide compassionate care to every one of his patients.
Patrice Fleckner, Optician
Patrice joined the Petersburg Family Eye Care team over 6 years ago and has been a trusted optician for over 15 years. She is very detailed with every patient to ensure each pair of glasses has precisely what is needed for their individual needs. Whether you are looking for stylish frames or the latest lens technology, Patrice's expertise ensures that you will look and see your best. She also speaks several languages including English, Spanish, and some French. Patrice is a vital asset to the team, and she strives to make sure that every patient is confident and excited with their new glasses.
Jessica Ballew, Office Manager
Jessica has been with Petersburg Family Eye Care since it was first established over 10 years ago. She plays an important role in every department of our practice including business operations, insurance coordination, and patient care. Her dedication to ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient care is evident in every aspect of her work. She does her best to treat each and every patient like family. Her commitment to our practice and her vibrant personality make her a cherished member of our team, and a valued presence for our patients.
Tera Black, Technician
Tera has been with the Petersburg Family Eye Care team for almost 4 years. She plays a crucial role in the office, guiding patients through the inital testing process and getting them prepared for the doctor. Patients feel more at ease during this process because she demonstrates incredible patience and explains the purpose of every test being performed. Her gentle spirit and calm demeanor ensure a positive and more comfortable experience for all of our patients.
Catherine Gettings, Optical Assistant
Catherine, better known as Ms. Cathy, has been with Petersburg Family Eye Care for over 3 years. As an expert frame stylist, she prides herself on listening and getting to know the personalized needs of each patient. This includes selecting the perfect frame, obtaining the precise measurements, and making appropriate recommendations based on the patient's prescription, occupation, hobbies, and unique style. Patients appreciate the individual care that she provides, and she works hard to make sure that all patients have the best experience possible.
